The humane society of broward county and broward county animal care & adoption are teaming up for a collaborative spay and neuter project for cats starting friday, may 1st.
To be eligible for spay/neuter surgery, kittens must be at least 2 pounds or 8 weeks of age.

At broward county animal care we want to help you keep your pet!
To help reduce pet over population and prolong your pet's life, female cats should be spayed and male cats neutered by six months of age.
The program is open to all broward county residents.
Spaying or neutering your pet early helps reduce pet overpopulation and provides a number of health benefits.
All pets adopted from broward animal care have:
Spay, neuter and vaccinate.

To see if your pets qualify for a free spay/neuter through the snip program, broward county residents must apply online at www. broward. org/animal.
If you are approved you will receive a voucher that can be redeemed at the hsbc by making an appointment.
